From the President

Greetings Eastern Iowa IFMA Members –

It has been a quiet year for our chapter with succession planning challenges, and I am excited to announce we are launching a chapter refresh, including three upcoming events. 

We will put forth a mid-term election for two new officers.  Jared Pourroy with The Baker Group for Chapter President, and Craig Montz with Miron Construction for Chapter Treasurer.  Sam Moeller with Shaw will continue to support sponsorships, and I will remain on the board as Past President. 

There is still one open board position for the Secretary chair.  Please let me know if you have any interest in learning more about it.  We typically hold our board meetings virtually around the noon hour and have an annual chapter planning meeting in June.  The time commitment averages less than 2 hours per month.

• Chapter Refresh Round Table and Social Hour/Appetizers

May 16 – TBD

June (date TBD)  – Lake McBride Golf Course

• Annual golf outing fundraiser Grill Out – always a great time!

Keep a look out for the summer social line up coming to the chapter website in May.  I look forward to seeing many of you at the meetings and social events this spring!
